It’s so crazy to think that a year has gone by since Brieann and Joseph’s engagement session. What’s even more strange is that we scheduled their session on June 20th at The Old Mill, without even realizing the coincidence (their wedding was planned for June 20th at the Olde Mill Inn)!
I think my jaw dropped when I first saw Brieann’s dress. With just a hint of blush pink, it was breathtaking.
After Brieann finished the first half of her prep, I ran over to grab a few getting photos of the guys.
Brieann and Joseph’s daughter was the sweetest little flower girl! Her face was always beaming, so thrilled to be part of mom and dad’s day. The bridesmaids were so incredibly helpful, offering whatever I needed to make sure Brieann received the best photos. Such an incredible group of girls!
Finally, after tons of planning and anticipation, the moment came! Joseph’s reaction to seeing his gorgeous bride walk towards him down the aisle was so beautiful! Emotional grooms are my favorite part of the day <3
The sky became more gray as the ceremony went on, but we lucked out enough for the rain to stay away for the entire day.
Immediately following the ceremony, we began formal photographs. There were quite a few large groups but thanks to everyone being so cooperative and organized, we were able to finish with plenty of time to get to the yummy appetizers waiting in the cocktail room.
The reception decor was simple and classy, with unique accents such as the tree centerpieces, sweetheart table decor, and pink uplighting.
“Thinking Out Loud” was such a sweet choice for their first dance song. Those lyrics just make me swoon <3
The parent dances, bother father daughter and mother son, were each so incredibly emotional. So much, that I actually had to take a break from editing because my eyes were tearing up!
The rest of the evening was filled with just as much emotion, both laughter and tears, along with a completely packed dance floor the entire night. June 20th will definitely be a night all of their guests will remember!
