The air was crisp, a bit on the colder side for mid-October (though I haven’t lived in the Poconos for almost a decade, so it could just be that I’m not used to the lower temperatures anymore).

Upon my arrival, I was greeted by Philip, the lead coordinator for Mount Airy Casino Resort. We had been in touch for a few days leading up to the wedding and I was already impressed by his organization and communication. (Brides, definitely add Mount Airy to your list of possible wedding venues!)

wonder that Kleinfeld Bridal is so popular! From the James Madison Collection, the dress was adorned with the most beautiful lace pattern, perfectly paired with Steven Madden shoes.

Most often when someone thinks of wedding photos, they think of the first kiss, formal photos, and first dance. While each of those are important, there is one thing that often gets overlooked: the details. I was so excited when Marjorie mentioned that she hoped I would take many photos of the little details!

With the help of her sister, the excited bride finished the last of her primping. Before we knew it, we were gathering our things and making way to the limo (J&J Transporation, thank you for being so wonderful and helping me load my photo gear!), which would be taking us to St. Peter the Fisherman Church in Lake Harmony.

Monsignor Chizmar was so warm and inviting, leading such a beautiful ceremony.

Officially Mr. and Mrs., Brian and Marjorie gathered into the limo with the rest of their bridal party, ready to return to Mount Airy and begin the celebration. We made a quick stop at the gazebo and everyone braved the chill and tried to ignore their goosebumps so we could get just a few more photos. The bridal bouquet from Imaginations complimented Marjorie’s stunning lace dress.

I had arrived early in the day, just as the staff had begun setting up. I was in complete awe of the transformation! Venues always amaze me with their attention to detail and ability to make a bare room come alive.

Gary, owner of Philadelphia Funk Authority, as well as the rest of the band were also a complete dream to work with. Gary had also been in touch with me prior to the wedding, so we could make sure Marjorie and Brian’s wedding day would be one of the most memorable days of their lives. I was already impressed prior to the wedding, but once I met the band members in person, they completely exceeded my expectations. Not only were they the most friendly group of people, they had immense talent. The vocals and and instrumentals blew guests away and the packed dance floor showed that the guests couldn’t help but get on the dance floor to shake their groove thing!

Marjorie and Brian, I hope that your wedding day was even more incredible than you had envisioned!
