Sometimes I find myself shaking my head, unable to believe that I’ve only known Abby and Stan for a short period of time. It hasn’t even been a year since we first met for their engagement session last November, yet our numerous chats over the past months has made it feel as though we’ve been connected forever.
Abby and I chatted often about her wedding day vision and the ideas she had in mind to make their day amazing. I was so eager to see how it all came together…and it ended up being even more beautiful than I had anticipated!
These flowers were so unique and unlike anything I’ve ever seen. All of the details just fit together SO perfectly!
After spending the first part of the day getting prettied up, Stan stood outside the First Look eagerly awaiting seeing his gorgeous bride for the first time. I lost count how many times he said how lucky he was to be marrying her <3
Although they had seen each other only a short while before the ceremony began, there was still so much emotion as Abby walked down the aisle with her father.
This is one of my favorite photos of the day. This single photo shows how excited they were to officially promise forever.
I overheard a few guests say that this was by far the best ceremony they have ever witnessed!
To say it was hot would be an understatement, temperatures were around 94 with about 30-40% humidity. While I looked like a hot mess, the entire bridal party managed to look completely flawless the entire day. I wish I knew their secret!
I don’t think it would have been possible to find a dress more perfectly suited for Abby! The photo to the left was taken when I asked her to glance over at Stan – see the love in her eyes? <3
Those amazing details ideas were incorporated into the reception area, too! It all fit together so perfectly.
The first dance photos were also on the top of my favorite lists. Stan looks thrilled to finally be able to call Abby his wife.
Stan also shared a special dance with his grandma. I’m so happy that he chose to have this moment with her
Abby and her father then took the dance floor, followed by Stan and his mom. Abby also danced with her new father-in-law, such a sentimental way to welcome her into the family <3
Working with Jim of DJ Jimbo helped the day run seamlessly. I love that we are able to get by most of the day with just hand signals towards each other, always knowing that we’re on the same page. Guests had such an awesome time, they even insisted Jim stay later than originally planned so the party could keep going!
Guests, I’d love to hear from you! What part of Abby and Stan’s wedding was most memorable?
