Mother Nature definitely didn't make it easy to plan Nick and Brianna's engagement session. Every date we tried ended up with storms, including unexpected thunderstorm and flooding on the way to their session. After four rescheduling attempts, we finally ended up with beautiful skies!
Brianna and Nick often find themselves at the disc golf course near Alvernia in Berks County, so it was fitting to choose that area for the engagement session. I'm a fan of photos with sentimental stories!
Like most couples, they were a bit nervous to be in front of the camera. Rather than having them "pose and smile" (awkward!), I guided them with things to say to each other, putting them more at ease. Within minutes, they were laughing and forgot all about a camera being there at all!
Brianna and Nick met at an ice skating rink when they were each barely teenagers and have been dating since! When their May wedding day arrives, they'll be celebrating nearly eleven years together! It's so exciting to think about the incredible "growing up together" stories that will be shared during their wedding.
I'm really looking forward to getting to know these two more over the next few months and am so flattered to have been invited to be a part of their celebration!
