Most brides aren’t lucky enough to start off your mornings by swimming in a pool full of money, so odds are you a planning a wedding on a budget. What does ‘bride on a budget’ mean when contacting vendors, though?

Sometimes I will receive an email from a bride stating that she is on a budget and looking for something affordable. “Budget” and “affordable” are very subjective words.  They can mean $500 or even $3000; depending on an individual’s finances, lifestyles, and priorities.

When contacting a vendor, try to be as specific as possible regarding your allotted spending amount. This will avoid a lot of back and forth and also help you save time in finding professionals that will be able to accommodate.
