Welcome to the K. Moss Photography studio, located at
25 Stevens Avenue, West Lawn, PA 19609!
I began photographing weddings in 2009 and opened my first studio space back in 2016. The cozy space served me well for a few years but it was time to expand and find a new home for K. Moss Photography. After a few weeks of searching, I found the perfect location in West Lawn, PA. I was so excited to be able to stretch out in a much larger space. At the time, I was still solely a wedding photographer, and had no idea that shortly after I signed my lease my entire career would take a turn towards portrait photography.
There about ten steps leading you up to the studio. My next studio space will definitely either be on the first floor or have an elevator, both for the convenience of clients as well as myself.
It likely comes as no surprise to many when they see my Vegas photo at the entrance! I've visited the west coast so many times that I've lost count.
This metal print was photographed from the Cosmo balcony in December 2019. It took me years to find the perfect spot to take this photograph. I loved it so much, there's a duplicate in our living room.
It didn't take long after beginning the Dream Dress Experience that I quickly began to run out of storage space.
I recently added these closets and instantly fell in love with the full length mirror! It's such a dream to watch little girls stare in awe of their reflection, as they catch the first glimpse of themselves in the biggest dress of their lives.
...and they are already jammed packed!
Initially these closets were meant to be for backdrops but my dress closet needed to overflow into this space. I don't think it will be possible to fit anything else!
Photographers often ask me about my dress and backdrop organization. It's so important to have an organized closet! Nothing is more embarrassing than to have a client waiting, as you tear through your closet to find what you need.
For dresses and backdrops, I create tags including a photo, the name of the Designer, Produce Name, and Size.

It's so important to me that everything in the studio coordinates with my brand and logo, I spent a weeks looking for these ombre curtains!
Of course I had to tie in a bit more of my west coast love!
Like my Vegas metal print, I also have this palm tree and a few cacti in our living room!
I'm not going to lie...a studio is a huge expense! Still, I wouldn't trade it in for meeting at coffee shops or offering only outdoor sessions.
I love being able to offer beverages and snacks as you view and order your images. I also have the tv available to you, with dozens of channels to choose from. The photo room is from viewing distance of the cozy couch, so catch up on an episode or two of your favorite show! Please don't feel shy or awkward clicking on the tv. You deserve to indulge a little and take a break! Kick off your shoes and make yourself at home (but keep your pants on, please).

I accidentally stumbled upon it while searching for something else and couldn't resist how adorable it looked!
Babies and children are instantly drawn to a seating area, sized perfectly for them! The little table is just the right height to enjoy an ice cream treat.
Of course children are never expected to sit in one spot for long periods of time, so there are toy boxes available, filled with everything from Barbies, block, play food, and more. A ball pit is also hidden, mostly due to space, but is available for when new entertainment options are needed.
Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cappucino...there are a variety of hot beverages ready for you! Water is also available.
My aunt and uncle gifted me this gorgeous studio sign. You will also notice a card displayed on one of my shelves, which they had sent to me shortly after opening at this location.
They've both been my biggest supporters throughout the duration of my life and I have so much appreciation for them.
The photo room is separated into its own space but still viewable for the couch in the adjacent room.
Many photographers have asked about my magnet wall for my backdrops. I definitely recommend magnets when possible, as opposed to stands. It takes up so much less space!

Somehow all of my longer dresses are in this closet. I attempted to take a photo of the dresses hung but they're packed in too tightly. If you look closely, you can even see the bottom of the closet door pushed forward, ready to burst!
