Berkshire Country Club Winter Wedding | Megan & Rich

It was just over 3 months ago that I had met Megan and Rich, and although we didn’t have that much time to really get to know each other before the wedding and time constraints didn’t allow for an engagement session, it still felt like I was hanging out with old friends when the wedding day came.

When we first met, they had explained that they were pretty laid back as a couple and were going to be pretty easy-going when it came to planning their wedding. This definitely proved to be true when their venue closed down a mere two weeks before their wedding. They both remained collected, as they quickly changed their plans, focusing on the big picture: they were getting married soon!

Megan had picked out the most gorgeous…well everything!

Her sweetheart ballgown from Bridaltown was breathtaking and truly the perfect gown for her. She paired it with a sparkling pair of earrings, shimmering heels, and a short veil. And the rings? Those totally speak for themselves!

She was looking so flippin’ gorgeous, I knew Rich’s jaw would drop when he saw her.Berks County Wedding Photographer | K. Moss PhotographyBerks County Wedding Photographer Police Wedding | K. We traveled to West Lawn United Methodist Church and counting down the minutes until the ceremony. Their pastor was actually the dad of one of my past bride’s, so I was double excited for the ceremony!

While many people usually just focus on the overall expression, I’m partial to the eyes. A person’s eyes holds so much emotion. You can just tell how much he loves her in this photo!West Lawn United Methodist Berks County Wedding | K. Moss Photography West Lawn United Methodist Berks County Wedding | K. While guests filtered away and made their way to cocktail hours, we snuck back inside the church for a few formals. Look at those big smiles!

(High-five, Stein’s Flowers!)West Lawn United Methodist Berks County Wedding | K. Moss PhotographyThroughout the week leading up to the wedding, the forecast was calling for ice. We ended up lucking out with no precipitation at all! The temperature was, however, only six degrees! (plus wind chill!!!)

It was the type of bitter cold that actually begins to hurt after only a few minutes! I’m still in such awe over how it could be absolutely freezing, but two people could still look this gorgeous in front of the camera. They don’t even look cold!

When we exited the church, we were excited to see pretty blues and pinks! What a great surprise!Berkshire Country Club Berks County Winter Wedding | K. The decor inside Berkshire Country Club couldn’t have fit their vision any more perfectly. They especially loved the ceiling decorations, which really pulled the room together.Berkshire Country Club Berks County Winter Wedding | K. Megan actually gasped when she took her first glance at the five-tier cake, adorned with snowflakes and icing made to look like snow and a glittery Mr. and Mrs. adorned the top.

Family members brought their favorite Italian desserts, which resulted in a long line of guests ready for a tasty treat.Berkshire Country Club Berks County Winter Wedding | K.
