Mister Softee Ice Cream truck. Baby giggles. Disney World. There are just some things that never fail to instantly lift your mood, no matter how lousy you were feeling! Sunflowers are right on top of that list, perking up even the dreariest of days!
Engaged only two weeks prior, Chelsea was super excited to schedule an engagement session to announce the news and have a few official photos of this huge step in their lives. With her heart set on a sunflower field, I went on a hunt to find the perfect spot. Summer sunflowers are incredibly popular, meaning it was going to be challenging to find a location that wasn't overrun with crowds! Luck would have it that one of my past couples, owners of Grim's Family Orchard added sunflowers to their property this year. Josie and Josh were the sweetest, allowing us to spend a little time to get a few engagement photos (thank you again Josh and Josie!!!). If you haven't already visited Grim's, definitely check them out! Between their fall festival and tasty fruits, it's a must-visit!)
This has definitely been the summer of non-stop rain! When the clouds grew darker and thunder started to rumble, we knew that we didn't have much time before another storm set in. Luckily we managed to get a variety of images just before the downpours. Whew!
Sean was pretty great at surprising Chelsea with the biggest question of her life. The engagement and marriage conversation popped up and Sean insisted that that those things were still a bit down the road.
The next day, they both went to his parents' house for a 4th of July picnic, including both his family as well as Chelsea's. Prior to hopping in the pool, Sean told Chelsea that her mom had mentioned wanting a nice photo of the two of them together. After mom took the photo, Chelsea was ready to enjoy the summer sun in the pool and ran over. She didn't get very far before she heard Sean call her name. When she turned around, he was on his knee. Their entire families were there to witness the beginning of their forever!
These was so much laughing and smiles shared between these two during their session, it's clear they've found the perfect match for each other! 
I was so incredibly flattered when the soon to be Mr. and Mrs. asked me to be a part of their wedding day! I'm excitedly counting down the days to their wedding in a few months <3.
