How to Write Wedding Thank You Cards

Many people dread writing thank you cards, simply because they don’t know what to write. This cheat sheet will help you write up a personal card in minutes.

Dear _____,

Thank you so much for the (adjective + name of gift*).

Described what you will be doing with the gift (Ex: We already have a date night planned to try our new fondue set)

*When receiving money, refer to it as a generous gift, rather than mentioning cash or a check (Ex: We’re excited to begin saving for our future home)

Add a short personal note. (We truly appreciate your traveling  so far to celebrate with us)

Love,

_____ and _____.

Note: Using a printer can feel impersonal, so always hand-write thank you cards.
