Indoor studio photography isn’t for everyone. Whether it be the fall foliage or spring flowers blossoming, some are just attracted to nature and love the idea of their family photography session taking place outdoors!
Are you looking for the best spots for photos in Berks County? You’re in luck! Below I detail a few of my most popular locations for couples, children, and family photo sessions.
Conrad Weiser Homestead, Womelsdorf PA
Located in Womelsdorf, Conrad Weiser Homestead is my most popular location for outdoor family and child sessions.
The most special part about this 26 acre property is that each season offers incredible beauty! From the fall foliage to the blossoms on the trees during spring, it’s the perfect location any time of year.
It is by far my most requested spot, thanks to the wide array of photo locations within the park, such as a gazebo, stone bridge, and lake.
Gring’s Mill Recreation Area, Reading PA
As one of the historical landmarks in Berks County for it’s beautiful covered bridge, and within walking distance to Penn State Berks, it’s hard to find a private spot to take family portraits in Gring’s Mill. With beautiful water features, antique buildings, and amazing flower fields to roam through, we’ll be sure to find the perfect area to capture your family portraits.
Stoudtburg Village, Adamstown PA
It’s like stepping out of Pennsylvania and into a small European village. With small antique shops and multicolored homes it’s a photographer’s dream. We’ll be able to walk through the streets without worrying about cars interrupting our photo session.
Blue Marsh Lake, Wernersville PA
There’s not many people who don’t know of Blue Marsh Lake in Berks County, but being able to photograph the true beauty of it without getting other random families, boats, jet skis, and dog walkers in the background of your precious family memories takes a true artist.
